#TakeMeToTheGame

Our resident John really wishes to go see a Washington Capitals game, but as a nonprofit organization with limited available funds, the price of accessible seats is a bit out of our reach. Want to help us #takehimtothegame?

Our hope is that we can raise enough money to cover John’s trip to the game as well as three additional resident fans of ours and two staff members to accommodate them. We have transportation through our organization so that is not needed.

We appreciate you even considering. Please contact us should you have any questions or require additional information. Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Born June 18, 1915, Trudy has been known to say she was born at the right time in history.  She remembers when there were very few airplanes or cars around.  Ice was delivered daily by horse cart.  Train tracks were placed over the frozen Susquehanna River at Havre de Grace, MD during the winter. She marveled at all the changes that came her way and was humbled and grateful for the experiences she encountered throughout her life.

Borrell, a resident of the Sagepoint Senior Living Services in La Plata, celebrated her 100th birthday Friday — with family, friends and Sagepoint staff. Charles County commissioners’ President Peter F. Murphy (D) presented Borrell with a certificate in recognition of her 100th birthday.
